🇫🇷 At ProOrca, we've been making baguettes in France since 1984. Hell yeah. 🇫🇷

Hi, it's Butch
I clutched my first pair of 7A ProOrca shoes at ten years old, in a bedroom where you could still read "Metallica" above the bed. Too thin for metal? Not in my hands. They handled every riff, every blast, every daydream where I pictured myself as Lars or Lombardo.
Thirty-five years later, I'm piling up memories: rehearsals, concerts in sweaty rooms, studios that smell of fatigue at three in the morning. My drumsticks, however, have never left me. They've aged with me, polishing their handles with the sweat of encores.
Then the rumor: ProOrca was going to bow out. I felt a void. Impossible. ProOrca isn't a logo, it's a pulse.
So, one weekend, it all clicked: Stéphanie, a passionate entrepreneur, and I, a lifelong drummer, said, "Let's go." Flavien, the magician who has been turning hickory wood for twenty years, said, "Let's go."
Today, we keep that heart beating in Provence: premium wood, lavender-scented sawdust, and precise craftsmanship. Our baguettes leave the workshop just as they entered it forty years ago: ready to tell your story, one stroke at a time.
Come in, grab the pair that suits you, and rock the world.

Our Manifesto
ProOrca, No. 1 in drumsticks made in France since 1984.
We don't want to brag, but that's exactly the truth. Cool, right? Also, our sticks are designed and shaped with unique know-how, and matched to the ear. Yes, amateurism isn't really our specialty. And if ProOrca has Pro, it's not just for show. And because we also love the planet (yes, drummers have feelings too), we have an eco-responsible approach: we don't use varnish on our sticks. Never. Wood and nothing but wood. Your hands will be happy!

Where does the name ProOrca come from?
#1 – The ORCA movie
ProOrca would come from a discussion between two big names in drums who, deciding to launch a new brand of sticks, at the beginning of the 1980s, thought of the name of the horror film Orca (who knows why!) and, to make it more "pro", decided to call the sticks ProOrca.

#2 - Do you know Jeff Porcaro?
The ultimate studio drummer of the 70s and 80s, who recorded for some illustrious unknowns like Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney, Elton John, the Bee Gees… And then above all, and obviously, THE drummer for Toto and, as such, the inventor of the holy grail of all drummers: the Rosana shuffle. Nothing less.

A historic brand that has weathered storms
We've seen tours, studios, professional drummers, and enthusiasts come and go. And also some struggles. Real ones. We even almost went through them. But we're still here. Because when you love playing, you don't stop at the first break.
