Thomas Bellon
Kassav', Blaiz Fayah
Thomas Bellon a grandi en Martinique dans une famille de musiciens. Il y a appris la musique en autodidacte et a, dès ses 15 ans, accompagné les plus grands artistes antillais.
Il a ensuite étudié les fondamentaux de son instrument à l'école Dante Agostini et CRD Jazz de Cachan pendant 5 ans.
En octobre 2009, il est appelé pour rejoindre le groupe KASSAV’, groupe légendaire qui fêtait cette année-là ses 30 ans en remplissant le Stade de France.
En 2019 sa collaboration avec le pianiste et compositeur américain Joachim Horsley sur son projet Via Havana, l’amène à enregistrer les batteries de la bande originale du film animé « BATMAN: SOUL OF THE DRAGON » produit par Warner Bros, ainsi que quelques épisodes de la série animée « BIG CITY GREENS » produite par Disney.
2022, parallèlement à Kassav’, il devient batteur et directeur musical pour Blaiz Fayah, nouveau style Martiniquais, qui fait fureur mondialement dans les clubs et sur les réseaux sociaux.
Il est joue également régulièrement pour Wyclef Jean, Ibeyi, Youssoupha ou Laurent Voulzy.
